The buildings are controlled by a web-accessible energy management system featuring remotely monitored sensors, flexible zone scheduling and energy efficient controllers. One feature of the system is we can see and easily change all thermostat temperatures, set points, fan status and schedules remotely over the internet. Also shown below are two internet screen shots of the central plant read-outs and a real-time summary of 101 University operations. This heating and air conditioning system was installed at a cost of more than $450,000.
