Compete in the only tournament open to the entire Stanford community: all golf members, faculty/staff, current students and alumni. Men and women will compete as individuals and 2-person teams for low gross and net honors in this very popular 3rd annual event. View 2004 results here.
  • WHEN: Saturday, April 2. All tee times at 8 am using shotgun start. Check-in starts at 7 am and no later than 7:40 am. Entry deadline is Friday, March 25; field limited to first 120 paid entrants.
  • ELIGIBILITY: All current Stanford golf members, current and retired faculty/staff, current Stanford students and Stanford alumni. Entrants may invite 1 partner, male or female, who also must meet these Stanford affiliation eligibility requirements.
  • ENTRY FEE: Member $50 (including juniors), faculty/staff (non-member) $90, student $50, alumni $110. A full lunch and beverages are included. Carts not included. Individual entries will be paired by the committee to form 2-person teams.
  • FORMAT: Low gross and net for individuals (men and women) plus 2-person best ball (at 90% of handicaps, except at 80% for teams with handicap spreads of more than 8). Entrants without a GHIN # will compete in separate flights and can win overall low gross but cannot win overall low net. Play from black (men)/white (by special request,men)/blue (women) tees. Low gross competitors MUST play from black (men) and blue (women) tees.
  • PRIZES: Stanford golf shop gift certificates for about 1/3 of the field. Individual low gross and net winners (men and women) and team net and gross winners will be recognized on the championship plaque. Each men's club member who submits a scorecard will receive 5 Kirk Award points; 300 points wil be distributed to the top net finishers. This event will also serve as the qualifier for men's club members to represent Stanford at NCGA Net Amateur and Senior Net Amateur Sectional Qualifying Tournaments.
